LoVE is In The AIR??
Have i met the one for me???
I have no idea, but lately i have been thinking about that guy i saw during the week 0 orientation.. He is not handsome, but something within him made me think of him these few nights. Maybe it's his smile or probably his candidness and he is definetly slim and strong. All i know is that he is from AC. Who is he? Which school and course is he from? Is he younger or older than me? Will i ever meet him again? I have no answers to these probing questions in my mind. Most probably I won't be able to meet him agian and this feeling might just be an infactuation. Guess i'm getting more and more desperate now!!Practically everyone around me has a partner now!

Finally, after much pushing from my family members, i've finished writting my cover letter and resume. Now i just need to post it out to the hospitals and wait for a reply... Guess i should start reading and revising my notes again, in case they start asking questions during the interview. Almost 3/4 of the knowlege is lost during this few months of holiday. So now lets pray that someone will hire me, and thus stop the naggings from my family members.

Woah....
This year's orientation is one that i will never forget! It was so much better than the previous years. I never felt more involved in the programme than before, since after i stepped into TP. The spirit was there and thanks to Mr Wallace's enthusiastic behaviour that we were able to create such a good event for the freshies, and of course, this year's harvest -->the OLs, were so much better than before. Many left deep impression on me, unfortunately, this is my last event to be involved in a school activity...hai...
Although many hiccups occured along the way, especially for the planning of the registration and the programme, we made it through, and it became our biggest event and accomplishment of the year.
Naturally, as always, i was put in-charged of admin duties. Had to plan over and over again for the registration because of several changes. In the end, it was back to the original idea, where the freshies had to take their attendance inside the LT, thought it would be a messy job inside, but thanks to the cooperative OLs, it was not a problem at all!! went into each LT to check up on them, and they were going smoothly, with the LT head leading the introduction of the OLs and making them cheer.
I became a photographer the 2nd day. Was entrusted with an expensive camera as wallace was unable to make it that day. Well... I guess, i'm not as bad as i thought i would be, the photos i took turn out to be quite good, at least better than somebody...
The TP school challenge came back this year with a twist. The first part was a telematch, The OLs were super hype up, we scremed till our throats became soar, unfortunately... we lost the race and came in 4th :(
But who cares, our luck changes at the 2nd part of the challenge, which was the Regatta (Dragon Boat Race). We came in 1st in every challenge, ranging from the lecturer's race to freshies to our own OLs race... Yeah! we are the number one man! Got a BIG cup for ourselves
But bad things still do happen to me! i have no idea why these bad lucks always occur to me. Whatever i hold will definitely be spoiled in a way or another. During the regatta, wallace's camera ran out of memory, so a camera was borrowed from ms hor's colleague. To my dismay, the lens came off suddenly when we were back in the LT(the moment i put it down on a chair). Brought it over to a camera shop, and they told me that they couldn't fixed it....Wah~~!!!!My emotions went wild that night, couldn't even sleep that night. I even dreamt of it!

A small little retreat for club members!
Had a really happy and enjoyable time yesterday!
me, fadhli, yanming, audrey, huilin and siyuen met up in jurong for ice skating. Yan ming was shocked to see me there. hey dude!i'm not as antisocial as you think i am. I like to have fun too, but it is always the money that gets in my way..haha... i'm a damn money conscious gal that restricted my activities all the while.. I can't help it 'coz dad's lost his job few years back and now we are practically living out of his savings. Although he became an insurance man, but there isn't many ppl who would buy insurance, esp after the crisis. Mum's working part time, but how much can a middle age women working part time earn? It's just enough for our daily living expenses such as food.
The cheapest package to get into the skating ring is that we go in 4. Luckily we were able to pull a guy to join our group to make up a party of 8, so each of us paid $11/- . The place was jam pack with kiddies, reason is that it's a saturday, some of them finished their exams already and a kid was celebrating her birthday at the skating ring....
The ring was quite dry there, had my shoes' teeth caught in ice a few times and end up falling on my butt.... Luckily, i wasn't the only one who doesn't know how to skate, audrey and siyuen were also new to it... i would say the guys are quite a gentleman there... they really put their effort to teaching us how to skate and accompanying us all the while, supporting us.
Learnt a new game today! Went to 'shevrons' after that to bowl... each game was $3.40 and the renting of the shoes was $1.20. Got my right hand all tired today from the force i used for the bowling.... the balls are really heavy man!many times, my ball nearly fall on my foot just before i swing it out to the ally.. The 2 jokers, jeremy and fadhli created a whole new fashion for bowling.. they wore all sorts of bags and caps out into the ally to bowl... we had a big laugh at them and i guess we were make a din there....
Went to holland village after that for dinner, and the food was cheap and delicious. A whopping big sandwich for just $6.90... unfortunately.. i forgot the name of the restaurant... Had an 'educational' chat with YM, Fad,Jem and Huilin till around 9.30pm.

hui yi's bbq
Went to Hui Yi's bbq yesterday at costa sand resort in pasir ris.
It's not the usual chalet where we have a house by outselves with plenty of space and rooms for us to walk about. This chalet is just like a master bedroom (1 closet, 2 single bed, 1 fridge, 1 sink, 1 bathroom, 1 dressing table and 1 TV attached to the wall). It cost $99/- for 3 days, 2 nights. Not a bad chalet if you want to stay and relax there by yourself/ with another person. Like the aloha loyang chalet, it has a swimming pool. However i prefer aloha loyang, the pool and the structure is much nicer and comforting, the lightings are also better. The sad and shocking thing is that the bbq pit for costa sands is one lousy junk that is not included in the package, we thought it was cheap, but end up it cost $30+ ( $20 for deposit, ~$10+ for the using of the pit).
Initially, i wanted to stay for the night, but after much thought, i decided not to.... Just don't feel 'right' to stay there, with all the 'unfamiliar' ppl.. probably i'm just a damn outcast.... Since after the seperation of the courses, i feel that the friendship begins to distance between me and my gang...With the little time we are allowed to spent with each other, our communication diminishes as the time goes by, and they themselves start to make new friends from their courses.. so end up me being the 'alien' from that group... I was really happy when hui yi asked me out for the bbq, i appreciate it very much that at least she still thought of me.
Obviously, like them, i made new friends from my course, but the problem is that they themselves are already in a group( all of them went to the same course)... so the 'friendshipness' between me and them was not that close. i feel that they never really thought of including me into their gang, probably the reason as to why they take me into their group is because they pitied me for being alone in the course.
Well... i'm a failure at everything except studies... Wish this situation would change and hope that i could make more loyal friends out there, somewhere...
